Andriah's biography
Andriah is the fifth of eight children of Duncan and Angelina Hamilton-Lock. Her early life was one of upheaval and change as her father moved
around the country with his business ventures. Eventually finding success with a large country retail outlet near Dunochart, the family became very
wealthy and Andriah grew up with her family in a large country mansion. She attended Kinroy Glen Academy, a private girl’s school.
Never a high-flyer academically, she enjoyed a job as an aromatherapist for a few years in her early twenties. She met Mike in a bar at the end of
1999. Although initially she thought him a bit arrogant, she warmed to him and began to fear he’d leave Scotland before she told just exactly how
she felt! Mike pulled out the surprise though by proposing to her when she was least expecting it. They married in 2002 in an extravagant double
wedding with one of her sisters in the grounds of her parents’ mansion. They have two children Kier and Maia and live in a small village near
Dunochart.
Andriah now helps Mike run their outdoor pursuits business ‘Live4-it’.
