Paula's biography
Paula was born in 1980. She enjoyed a happy childhood in Glasgow. She has a very good relationship with her Steven who always looked out for her from an early age. After
the birth of Jenna she enjoyed helping her mum look after the baby and always guarded her fiercely, something she still does today!
Her mid-teen years were marred by several incidents at her Glasgow High School. Gangs of pupils from a nearby housing scheme started taking the same bus to school,
bullying and threatening others. Paula became petrified of making the journeys after she was threatened with having her hair set alight. The situation drove her mother to
giving up her job so she could ferry Paula to and from school every day. Eventually, the family moved to Dunochart. This presented Paula with other pangs, feeling she wouldn’
t be able to make friends and would be an outcast in her new school.
These fears proved groundless however and she made many friends including Isla, her best pal and Kate, another close friend. She joined the Dunochart Musical Society for a
short while and made friends there too, including Lorissa.
After leaving school, she embarked on a series of failed relationships, mostly caused by her infatuation for Steven’s friend, Marcus, a very handsome young man who sadly
had no interest in her romantically. When she realised she was getting nowhere with him, she was ‘set up’ with Darin, and equally handsome man!
Romance blossomed and the pair married in 2007, they had a son, Finlay in 2010.
Paula works for ‘Scottish style’ Magazine, a business in Dunochart. Her boss, Aveline Diamond is a constant source of aggravation and annoyance for her.
