Lynette's biography
Lynette married Iain in 1971. Her family thought she was too young and insisted it would all end in tears, however 40 years on they remain happily
married. Lynette spent much of her early marriage taking care of Steven and her niece and nephew who were landed on her when her sister-in-law
had a breakdown. Far from complaining however, Lynette took in the two of them and they grew up with Steven as siblings until they were able to
return home.
Paula arrived in 1980 and Lynette thought her family was complete, some eight years later however, she decided another one was needed and Jenna
followed, perfecting the family. As she was so much younger than her siblings, she became ‘the baby of the family’.
Lynette thought she would feel lonely and useless when her last child flew the nest but a trio of grandchildren put paid to that worry and she now
enjoys her role as active grandmother! Another grandchild arrived in 2010 giving Lynette plenty to do!
Lynette is viewed as a kind, thoughtful person by everyone who knows her and she rarely has a bad word to say about anyone. She as many friends
and is actively involved in the local church. Her happiness comes through her family and she enjoys being with them as often as possible, she looks
forward to many more grandchildren and long happy years in their company.
